This journey officially began on Friday, November
30, 2012. Danny Moulder, only 41 went to see his
internist complaining of dizziness, headaches,
blurry vision and fatigue which had been ongoing
for six weeks, all the while getting worse. The
internist sent him for an MRI and within 2 hours
of his appt. they received the call. He has a golf
ball sized brain tumor on the pineal gland
(located in the center of the brain).
Immediately, they were referred to LeBonheur
Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN where on
December 28th, 2012 Danny underwent surgery for a
malignant brain tumor: pineoblastoma – a very
rare form of cancerous tumor found mostly in
children. The tumor was too large and involved to
remove it all. Following surgery, he left the
hospital to come home and fight for his life.
